At Penn Station, you catch mostly trains. The Long Island Railroad (LIRR), New Jersey Transit (TNJ) trains and Amtrak. LIRR Accessibility info is on the MTA webste New Jersey Transit Accessibility Penn Station has a whole underground of stores and fast food-eateries. Clothing shops, souveniers, etc. Some buses may stop outside/near Penn Station that go to Philly, PA or other places, like Mega Bus or Bolt Bus. |
Metro North at Grand Central Station

East 42nd St through 45th St and between Lexington & Park Aves

Take Metro North Trains to Upstate NY or to Connecticut and back. You may want to go here just as a tourist and check out the ceilings and light fixtures of GCS, plus many chic food and gift stores. MetroNorth Accessibility info is on the MTA website NYCAirporter service shuttles you to your Manhattan hotel between 23rd St and 63rd which is free service from GSC only. ========================================== |
